Facecard Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026
Facecard is a local-first skin tracking app. We designed v1 so your routine logs, product shelf, checkpoint records, reports, and encrypted checkpoint photos stay on your device.
Data We Do Not Collect
Facecard does not create accounts, run advertising SDKs, use third-party analytics, sell personal data, or upload checkpoint photos to a server.
Data Stored On Your Device
Facecard stores skincare routine logs, product entries, experiments, reports, app preferences, and checkpoint metadata in the app's local store. Checkpoint photos are encrypted before they are saved locally.
Photos
Facecard uses the camera to capture skin checkpoint photos and may read a selected photo if you choose to import one. Facecard does not save checkpoint photos to your system photo library.
Face ID
If you enable app lock, Facecard uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework to unlock the app. Facecard does not receive or store your biometric data.
Notifications
If enabled, Facecard sends local routine reminders. Notification preferences are controlled on your device.
Backups
Device backups are controlled by your Apple settings. If your device backup includes app data, Apple may back up local Facecard data according to your iCloud or Finder backup settings.
Deleting Data
You can delete app data from inside Facecard or by deleting the app from your device.
